The DDR4 PCIe x8 lady has come out!

Speed test coming soon! That’s more than twice as fast as previous versions! 🙂

P.S. Each square of a grid is 1 centimeter.

  1. The wait is killing me. I have a few questions.
    1. Whats the ball park price?
    2. Can you mix and match memory speeds/sizes?
    3. Whats the maximum memory size per slot? i.e. 14 x 32Gb

    1. 1. Not finalized.
      2. Of course, but the channel speed will be set to the slowest blade.
      3. This has been tested with 32G. I hope there will be no problems with more value.

  2. Hello,

    Whats the ball park price?
    If ECC memory is supported?
Can you mix and match memory speeds/sizes?
Whats the maximum memory size per slot?
How high is the total capacity?

    1. Not finalized.
      ECC memory is supported
Of course, but the channel speed will be set to the slowest blade. But you can’t mix ECC and PC memory, of corse.
This has been tested with 32G blades. I hope there will be no problems with 64+G.

  3. Might it be possible to produce low-profile versions for smaller rackmount chassis (such as 2U) with 8 DIMMs slots?

  4. What abput a DDR3 based PCIe x8 version? Wouldn’t that be fast and relatively cheap due to the use of DDR3 memory? Does it make sense?

  5. Hey just a small question. How long does it last on a battery charge?
And do you happen to utilize standby power to keep the data in RAM?

It would be really cool to have a way for it to survive a day or two without losing data.
